I've gotten sucked into the "Free Credit Report dot com" sinkhole and there is ALWAYS a catch. The commercially offered "free" reports come with subscriptions to expensive credit monitoring services. If you don't want the service, you have to remember to cancel by jumping through whatever hoops they put between you and cancellation. Great site...will be back often! This is such good advice!
